PEACE BE WITH YOU..

When someone reaches out to you

and touches your hand.

I feel that I would reach out

and hold them.

It’s like saying, "Peace be with you."

And it warms ones’ heart.

A kind word, a smile fills our soul and

fills our heart with love.

Taking the time to warm someone’s

heart is a joy to one’s soul.

Often times I feel overjoyed,

when we talk to someone,

smile the most beautiful smile,

laugh the most heartful laugh,

cry when we feel the need.

We are all ones’ person, ones’ friend,

ones’ companion, ones’ brother, sister,

son, daughter, father, mother.

We are One, we are all created equal,

we are all special in God’s eyes

and we are Loved…

“IF U LIKE WHAT I DO, AND I LIKE WHAT U DO, CAN WE BE FRIENDS?”

"IF U LIKE WHAT I DO, AND I LIKE WHAT U DO, CAN WE BE FRIENDS?"

Good Question?! HUH! HHmm??!!

Friends come and go. I read from somewhere, sometime ago, that we do have different kinds of friends. Friends old and new.

Friends are like seasons, it changes. Or we change it in time.

We have friends since childhood days, teenage years, and college days.

Friends we meet along the way, as we climb that social ladder. Friends we find when we need each other.

Friends, good friends, best friends, social friends are out there! Gather them around, mix them up, and learn from them.

We use them one way or another. Admit that we heed their advice, need their acceptance, guidance, but most of all love!

We quarrel with them, have some disputes now and then, but most of all we make up and hate to break up.

Friends are all around us, let’s treasure each friendship as it comes!

3′ o clock

Not long ago before i had surgery on my back and we’ve been doing trials on medicine, and physio combined to cure a disc problem. My surgeon has been preaching me on the importance of taking swimming as an exercise. Recently my doctor told me "you need to exercise everyday, just like having breakfast, you shouldn’t miss it!"  Then i told him , "it means i have to learn how to swim..?"  His face looked shocked in disbelief, being a flight attendant of course, he must have thought that being a good swimmer was one of a criteria. I’ve almost wanted to laugh as i’ve expected, he must have very high impression of me working for an airline. But i did controlled my heartful laugh, being a nice patient. Doc said, "well.." "I’m not really good  you see", i’ve interrupted him. Then he told me, " just grab any floaters and try to do 20 laps a day.!  You might expect yourself to be really tired coz you’ve had surgery, but it takes a while and you have to remember swimming is good for your heart, lungs and back!  We need to keep your back stabilize, and strong, so you can go back to work soon.."   Of course i understood the necessity of work, and being out of work keeps me here online every time…Without realising i’ve been sitting by the computer all the time, my husbands complaining.!  yeh, right!  Well the reality is can’t see my kids for a while in Manila as i do need to travel, and Doc, just keeps postponing my idea of rest as being with my kids and watching superman with them.. and even missing my daughter’s 8th bday.. Isnt he horrible?  ..  "You have to show me first that you can swim  and give it another two weeks, ok?..remember you have to take care of yourself first , before you can take care of others.."And of course i admire that, directness and knowledge of being a man of science, he’s only leading me to the right path.., i guessed?   So i started following doctors orders, even from day one that we met.. Even my sis-in-law had an admiration for this doctor.  It’s like maybe meeting superman in her case, and mine is  just naturally a respect for a man of science.     And so to shorten the story, i’ve tried swimming yesterday with the floaters, on the kids pool.  With all the people looking at me, maybe they thought i’m nuts. What the hell am i doing with floaters on a kids pool, i don’t have any kids in tow… The lifeguard is looking at me as well, as i dip in the pool and out, he’s staring at me. And maybe he noticed that i was looking at him as well, he just battered an eyelash and continously looking over me as if i will drown… at 3 ft of water in the outdoors.. But before i went in coz the sun in HKG is too hot yesterday!!!  i did asked one of the lifeguards by the indoor pool ," how many feet is this water?"  And one of them said, "it’s 3′ o clock!"  i said "What?" This chinese guy who looks like a teenager really young, maybe this is just a summer job for him as a lifeguard, again said confidently,  "3′o clock".  And i gave up on him, as i looked at the pool one more time there was a carton saying ( closed for cleaning 1300-1500) , and i laughed," oh you mean it’s open at 3pm!" "Thanks, i’ll just use the outdoors.."
